THE SAPIENSTONE STONEWARE COUNTERTOPS IN THE TALLEST BUILDING IN THE WORLD: THE BURJ KHALIFA IN DUBAI

Being the "top" for SapienStone has a double meaning: that of a porcelain stoneware countertop with excellent aesthetic and technical characteristics and that of reaching one of the tallest buildings in the world, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

On the 80th floor of this already legendary skyscraper, Dubai's Burj Khalifa, SapienStone stars in the kitchen design of a luxury apartment.

With the collaboration of Moda Line, exclusive distributor of SapienStone surfaces in the United Arab Emirates, and Goettling Interiors, this project was carried out where the kitchen completes the spectacular 360° view of the Dubai skyline.

To enhance the luminosity of the living room and kitchen, the chosen material is SapienStone Calacatta Statuario with a natural finish. Thanks to its subdued and captivating colours, this marble-effect stoneware kitchen countertop combines perfectly with other furnishing accessories, giving harmony and well-being to the entire space.
SapienStone Calacatta Statuario is found in several areas of the kitchen, such as the open island with a niche, the sink, the cooking zone and the preparation zone.

On the island, the shape and finish of the edges have been totally customized, here a concave cut has been made to allow the surface to be installed flush with the imposing column that dominates the space.

In addition, the countertop of the island is designed to be extended and become a breakfast table. Another detail to highlight is the hidden integrated electrical outlet: a vertical turret that emerges with a simple touch on the countertop.

The entire range of SapienStone porcelain stoneware materials is available in Dubai through the commercial partner Moda Line, which precisely in March 2022 inaugurated the new SLAB LAB® by Moda Line exhibition hall.
